How to Shop

1. Find the book you are interested in by using one of the methods described above. Most people start by entering the shop and browsing through our list of subjects.

2. Choose a title you are interested in. Detailed information about the book will be displayed.

3. If you wish to purchase the book, click the Add to Trolley button .

4. If you would like to browse other books, choose .

5. When you have finished shopping, choose . You will then be presented with a list of your selections. If you would like more than 1 copy of a book, change the number in the quantity box and select . If you wish to remove a book from your trolley, set the quantity to 0 and click .

6. Now select and complete the form. There are two steps: (1) Enter your name and address details, and (2) Enter your credit card details. This is a secure page and all details entered are sent over the Internet securely. You have now finished.

Is it Safe?

Yes.
It is actually safer to enter your credit card details on the Internet than it is to give your credit card to a restaurant waiter, if the web site is using a secure ordering system. You can tell that the site is secure because the address prefix changes from http to https and a padlock appears at the bottom of your web browser.

The Federation Press uses a secure ordering method (SSL). Your personal details including credit card information are encrypted and stored in a password protected database.  Once processed, your credit card details are destroyed.

Refund Policy

You may return any title within 30 days of invoice for a full refund, provided it is in mint resaleable condition.

Postage & Handling Charge

Australia: There is an $11.00 (incl. GST) post and handling charge for all personal and corporate orders, irrespective of how many titles per order.

New Zealand: There is a $15.00 post and handling charge for orders of one title. Please add $10.00 for each extra title ordered.

Overseas: There is a $25.00 post and handling charge for orders of one title. Please add $10.00 for each extra title ordered.

Bookshops

There is an $11.00 (incl. GST) small order surcharge for all Australian bookshop orders under $150.00 nett.

Delivery Time

Australian orders - please allow 5 working days.

International orders - books are sent via Air Mail which usually takes 2-3 weeks, however in some circumstances can take longer. 
Our overseas distributors in the United Kingdom, North America, Singapore and Malaysia hold most of our stock; if so they can usually supply more quickly than we can from Australia. Click here for contact details.
