Bligh Grant

Bligh Grant is Senior Lecturer in Local Government Studies at the UTS Centre for Local Government (CLG). He holds a PhD and BA (Hons, Politics) from the University of New England. He has published articles in political studies, political economy, comparative politics, sociology, regional studies, gender studies and applied ethics as they pertain to local government. Bligh has also published in a range of other fields, including strategic management theory and leadership, business education and wine economics. His first edited book, Pauline Hanson, One Nation and Australian Politics, was published by UNE Press in 1997.

Prior to his current appointment Bligh held positions as Lecturer in Business Ethics at the UNE Business School, Research Lecturer in Local Government Studies at the UNE Centre of Local Government and Associate Lecturer in Political Economy in the School of Accounting, Economics and Finance at the University of Southern Queensland (2010). He has also taught in the areas of Philosophy, Politics, Sociology, Asian Studies and International Relations, all at UNE.
