Sean Brennan

After graduating, Sean Brennan worked as an Associate to a Federal Court judge and then at Inner City Legal Centre in Darlinghurst. Between 1994 and 1998 he worked with Cape York Land Council, the National Indigenous Working Group and other Aboriginal organisations. From 1999 to 2002 he was in the Commonwealth Parliament’s research service before joining the UNSW Law School. Between 2002 and 2005 Sean has been Director of the Treaty Project at the Gilbert + Tobin Centre of Public Law, investigating the public law implications of a treaty or treaty-like agreements between Indigenous peoples and Australian governments.
